When will justice prevail?

Some ask if God is loving why He allows for the atrocities we see taking place around the world and featured in the headlines on a daily basis. But what many don’t grasp is the gravity of their own sin. If God were to deal with sin today we would all stand condemned before a Holy and Just God. Why? Because we have broken His perfect Law; The Ten Commandments, which say, you shall not lie, steal, or take God’s Name in vain. Jesus says, lust is as adultery and hatred as murder in His sight. In light of that perfect standard, we would all be completely wiped out for our sins. But Scripture says that God is patient, not wanting any to perish but all to come to salvation. (2 Peter 3:9 ) God’s wrath will not sleep forever. He is angry with the wicked every day. (Psalm 7:11) He has promised to set all things right at the judgement throne of Christ. (Acts 17:31), judging even the secret and hidden thoughts and intents of the heart. Repent of your sins today and put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Then to show your gratitude, read God’s Word daily and obey what you read. Be assured that God will repay each one for what they have done; the wicked will be punished; the righteous rewarded. God’s justice will prevail!
